How To Use: Roypow J18 Jump Starter

The Roypow J18 Jump Starter has the kind of high specification that makes it eligible to be considered as a high powered portable jump starter that's capable of starting big engines. There are so many like this, so I'm not going to claim this is the best one ever. However, the Roypow J18 has IP66. This basically means the J18 can withstand more abuse than the average Jump Starter. It can still work after coming into contact with water, being dropped and getting dirty, etc.

The battery capacity is 18,000mAh, which is very good. It also charges up fairly quickly and has the ability to charge other electrical devices, such as Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops etc. As most of them do these days. Anyway, this isn't a review, it's just a How To Use post that shows someone from Roypow using the J18 to start a car.

The sequences in the video generally applies to most portable jump starters. They basically all operate like that. Attach to the clips battery, turn the jumper unit on, give it a few seconds to charge the battery and then attempt to start the car.

In the video the man uses a Ford SVT Raptor (6.2 Litre) as the example car / truck. If the video is legit (I say this because the video is cut and didn't show the car failing to start to begin with), then that is very impressive. The video also provides a little troubleshooting guide at the end just in case you have encountered a problem with your unit.
